Arlene Duncan's knowledge, experience, and passion for business and the right of every girl and woman to have proper feminine hygiene products and proper feminine care have made her the perfect spokesperson, leader, and founder of We Care Period Foundation. Duncan began her career in 1994 with Continental Airlines in Romulus, Michigan, where she was the face of the company to passengers. Her responsibilities included providing assistance with flight information, handling conflicts, dealing with passenger concerns, and assisting passengers with special needs.


In 1997, Duncan left Continental Airlines to take a position at Chrysler Corporation in Warren, Michigan. During her 12 years at Chrysler Corporation, she rose through the ranks from a Production Assembly Person to a Deck Analyst to a Logistics Analyst. Her responsibilities at the company included inventory control, process implementation, vendor and supply chain management, financial projection management, overseeing production logistics, employee management, and overseeing pick and pack programs.


In 2009, Arlene Duncan decided to venture on her own and started her first company, Arlene's Hot Dogs. She began the company in Detroit, Michigan as a street hot dog vendor and now has four locations located throughout Detroit, Michigan, and Atlanta, Georgia. Her successful entrepreneurial venture has provided her with knowledge and real-world experience in employee management, business operations, payroll, change management, vendor and supplier acquisition, customer response and acquisition, marketing, and business scaling.
