Christine van Greuning, a passionate advocate for gender equality and ending violence against women and girls, is co-founder of Truth & Reconciliation Conversations (TRC). With a strong background in both the corporate world and education, Christine has honed her skills in creating impactful programs that inspire and empower young people from all walks of life.
Beginning her career in the tourism industry, Christine spent a decade working with government tourism organizations, successfully developing and implementing innovative online travel systems. This experience laid the foundation for her future work in fostering positive change across the globe.
When Christine shifted her career focus to education, she embraced her calling as a Montessori teacher in South Africa. It was here that she discovered her passion for developing practical educational programs and tools for children, most notably through her work with the non-profit organization Family Food Security.
Through TRC’s Take the Pledge campaign and civic education programs, Christine is dedicated to engaging youth in schools and around the world in vital conversations focused on change for their generation. Her leadership empowers young people to become advocates for change, fighting for gender equality and an end to violence against women and girls.
