Writer & Cultural Activist
Louise Thurin is a writer, cultural activist and art market student based in Paris. Her activism, which focuses on decolonial processes in Arts and Cultural spaces, was featured in Le Monde Afrique, France Culture, Konbini Arts… She writes for artists, fairs and galleries; notably through ARTSKOP34.37, an Anglo-French media platform dedicated to the Black worlds contemporary creation.
Joining in early 2021 the team of the Gang of Witches podcast, she monthly shares works by African and Afro-diasporic women artists to a 10.000-listeners audience. She is today actively involved in the activities of the UNESCO’s Slave Route Project(UN) as a panel moderator and project coordinator intern.
